Day Eight: Coffee and Extreme Revenge

Okay, this day couldn't have gone any better for a few reasons.

1. I just passed 20K

2. I wrote almost 5K today- which for me, is A LOT!

and 3. I just surpassed the word count of a friend who recently told me

'You Seriously think you can still beat me!?'

Heh, heh. Revenge is sweet,

And okay. Today. I rocked that keyboard.

Feeling extremly awesome today.

I just killed another character today. Although it's okay, because he was so unimportant that I didn't even bother to give him a name. Although I suppose that his death does add to the plot quite a bit, but still. I apoligise 'Man in Suit' from Chapter 4!

Day Seven (Even though it's day 8)

Okay, the whole day yesterday and the whole day of today will be spent chasing after a friend who seems to be taunting me with her word count - eg

Any time I get within say 1000 words of her, she'll shoot up by another 4K. :(

But nonetheless, my spirit is not lacking!

I have a mug of coffee by my side and my brain is set into writer's mode. Today, I catch up!

Oh and my word count is at 15,400 and hers just over 20K.

I think I have my work cut out for me today.

Day Six of Awesomeness!

Word count over 13,000! A day of celebration!

I'm really starting to get into my novel. It's consuming me! :D

Day Four! Coffee and Happiness!

Sorry, I've really been neglecting my blog recently due to the intensity of NaNo.

(I'm in competition with Freaktopia and I am just 400 words ahead. A ha!)

Okay, first things first- Word Count- 10,469. I broke 10K today!

So basically, things are going pretty well at the moment.

So how are things going for you guys?

Okay, things are certainly ahead of schedule, Day 2 and well over 7K.

Oh and two character deaths :)

And three huge mug of xtra-strong coffee.

Woop! Bring on Day 3!

As seen below- stayed up 'till midnight writing.

Got 2012 words done in just over 3 hours. This is very slow, but it was the prologue to my novel and I wanted the first paragraph to be perfect. Yes, I know.

But more writing to be done today, hopefully I can get up to 5,000.

That will be my goal of the day.
